Have questions?
We’ve got answers.

What is high speed internet?

The FCC currently defines high speed broadband internet as minimum 25 Mbps download speed/ 3 Mbps upload speed, but in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2022, Congress set 100 Mbps/20 Mbps as a target for internet speed that is available to everyone. As the average number of devices per household goes up, higher speed connections are important for everyone to have the internet access they need.

What high speed internet is available in my area?

Verizon Home Internet offers a variety of internet speed plans across the United States. Fios service is available in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast, while we’ve rolled out 5G Home Internet and LTE Home Internet in more than 900 cities across the country. To find out if Verizon offers internet service at your address, check your availability.

How much does high speed internet cost?

If you are a Verizon mobile customer on a select 5G unlimited plan, you may qualify for Verizon Home Internet for $25 per month with Auto Pay.* For non-Verizon mobile customers, explore our internet plans for more information about prices and speed tiers.

You may even qualify for free high speed internet with the Affordable Connectivity Program and the Verizon Forward Program discounts. You must apply for ACP to verify your eligibility. Households can qualify based on your household income, if you or someone in your household participates in certain federal assistance programs, or if you already receive a Lifeline benefit.
