What is the ACP?

The ACP is a federal program that provides subsidized internet service for eligible customers.

Up to one $30/month subsidy for each eligible household
Up to one $75/month subsidy for each eligible household on Tribal lands

What is the Verizon Forward Program?

The Verizon Forward Program is a discount Verizon offers to provide internet access to our customers who are enrolled in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). With ACP and Verizon Forward Program customers can get free internet service. No hidden fees. No equipment charges.

Who is eligible for ACP?

You must apply for ACP to verify your eligibility. Here are the ways your household can qualify for ACP:

Based on your household income
If you or your child or dependent (or someone in your household) participates in certain Federal assistance programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, SSI, Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program or other programs you can qualify for ACP
If you or your child or dependent already receive a Lifeline benefit

What equipment is required for the Verizon Forward Program?

Fios Home Internet

A router is required. However, Fios Home Internet equipment is included at no charge with your Fios Home Internet activation.

5G Home Internet

A router is required. However, 5G Home equipment is included at no charge with your 5G Home activation.

LTE Home Internet

A router is required. However, LTE Home equipment is included at no charge with your LTE Home activation.

What’s the most affordable internet for low-income households?

Verizon customers who are approved for the Affordable Connectivity Program can get free Verizon Home Internet with the Verizon Forward Program. Check availability to see if Verizon Home Internet is available in your area.

I’m already a Verizon Home Internet customer. Can I qualify for ACP and the Verizon Forward Program?

Of course! Existing customers who qualify for ACP will automatically qualify for our Verizon Forward Program as well. Once you confirm your ACP qualification with Verizon, you’ll see updates in plan pricing on your bill (below). Or, depending on your service, you can also change plans if there’s one that better suits your needs with the discounted pricing.
